I need someone to tell me what to do.

I think I realized something yesterday, which I’ve known for years, just never felt it this clearly.

That Reality is always in flux.
Every moment carries a pattern of change, inviting me to witness its unfolding.
And my mind is too biased to see that pattern clearly.

I have a tendency of falling into same loops.Which means that when I try to “figure things out,” I’m usually just looping through the same thoughts, preferences, and blind spots.

I’ve only recently started to practice witnessing the moment unfold and try not to impose how it should be. I still fall into the same loops but at least now I can catch and reset.

I’ve also realized something else. If I stay in the same routine for too long,
my mind starts to feel stagnant (almost dysfunctional). Like it’s not meant to stay in one mode beyond its due date. There’s something cyclical about the way I function.

I found Oblique strategies recently and it’s pretty interesting.

It’s basically a deck of short instructions you draw when you hit a creative block. The interesting part is that they’re not necessarily logical or tailored to your situation. They just introduce a direction you probably wouldn’t have chosen yourself. It breaks the linear thinking and introduces something slightly unpredictable.

Which got me thinking, what if I applied that, not just to moments of being stuck “creatively”, but to the entire day?

If I list out a bunch of activities… things that take time, attention, presence, and then let one be picked at random…

It would mean stepping into something I didn’t arrive at through my usual preferences. But then who will list out the activities.
